New 9U Development Team for 2023 Season
9U Development Team Tryouts

Time: 6pm-8pm
Field: St. Rose
This season Port City Minor Baseball is going to run a development team for 9U players looking to improve their baseball skills in a more competitive environment.
The focus of the 9U Development Team will be on having fun and creating a positive atmosphere, while improving baseball knowledge and skill. Players selected for this team will be dedicated to their team and receive coaching to prepare them to play at the 11U competitive division levels.
Program details:
- 12 player team chosen through an evaluation process with independent evaluators
- Team will play in the 11U recreational league (will not play in the 9U league)
- Will follow all rules of the 11U recreational league
- League consists of teams from Saint John, KV, Hampton, Sussex
- They will play 1 game per week in the 11U recreational league and possibly some games against other 9U development teams depending on availability
- Competitive and fun environment for kids looking to improve their baseball abilities
- Expectation is that players would be dedicated to attending most practices and games
